Ready to roll- a future over fences
Onnaroll (better known as Rolo) has serious pedigree, by Kapgarde who has produced some of the best jump horses of recent years: Clan des obeaux, A Plus Tard, and the up and coming Brighterdaysahead to name a few.
On his mothers side the quality of progeny is equally strong. Saint des Saints (Dam's sire), another jump racing sire worthy of nobility.
Onnaroll took some time to warm up to the challenges presented in his early hurdle races. Throughout his career he has always raced with high expectations, especially evident with his 66/1 second place finish.
It's rare to see a horse so eager to race, but in the past, his excitement has sometimes been his downfall. Reducing such enthusiasm is never easy, however his most recent summer holiday may have been a turning point.
Bred to be a natural chaser, this could be his time to shine. Now he has completed his summer holiday he has returned to training and seems to be more relaxed around other horses with a new level of maturity.
As a natural jumper of fences with a big engine, he could put in some great performances over the coming season.
Onnaroll begun his season at Fontwell 24th September in a 2mile 1 1/2f handicap hurdle, he settled into the race like a dream, the jockey Lorcan Murtagh gave him a great ride and he jumped like an arrow. Unfortunately when he was staying on strongly at the last he was bumped by converging horses and slipped and fell at the last.
He has come out of the race well and there is excitement for his next start over fences. His strong jumping ability should really aid him over the larger obstacles.
Heartful Racing- Cynthia Woods
Heartful Racing is a syndicate set up by Cynthia and her husband, Guy, who also plays a vital role at the yard and is the designated Syndicate manager.
Based at Green Hedges Farm; located in the heart of the High Weald, Mark Cross, just a 15-minute drive from both Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough.
The well-being and happiness of the horses are of utmost importance. Cynthia takes advantage of the significant undulations of the farm's terrain in the local countryside to train the horses. This approach keeps their routine varied, ensuring they remain interested and enjoy their work. The undulating characteristics promote comprehensive full-body fitness, enhance the horses' adaptability for the race track, and help build strength and stamina.
The horses are turned out in the fields daily, a practice essential for their mental and physical well-being. As social animals, they benefit greatly from this routine, becoming more relaxed and content.

Frequently asked questions
can I expect prize money if my horse wins or places?
This varies by syndicate. As per the British Horseracing Authority's Rules of Racing legislation, 3.5-8% of race winnings go to the jockey and 6-10% to the trainer depending on the finishing position. The rest is distributed according to the syndicate's rules which are detailed in the shareholder agreement. We recommend reading the syndicate's terms carefully.
what do the cards mean?
Click on the red "CARD EXPLAINED" button. If you are using a mobile you will have to accept/reject cookies to see the card explained button.
what is a racing syndicate?
A racing syndicate is a collaborative ownership model where multiple individuals combine their funds to purchase shares in a racehorse. Syndicate members contribute financially towards the initial purchase of the horse and ongoing expenses like training fees, travel costs, and veterinary care. With Equine Sales, all these expenses are conveniently covered in a single upfront payment for the year, with no hidden charges or additional fees.
are there any hidden costs?
We partner with syndicates that are transparent in their obligations. You will find a share price breakdown on the horse listing page (once you clicked on the listing card). The only potential extra costs you might encounter are related to travel and any personal expenses during in-person visits.
what happens at the end of the ownership term agreement?
At the end of the syndicate term, typically the shareholder will have the option to renew the share at a reduced price to continue following the racehorse's career. In some cases, the horse may be retired or sold, a decision usually made by the majority shareholder where shareholders may have the right to vote depending on the terms of their agreement. Typically, shareholders must seek permission from the syndicate before selling their share.
